Vision

Department with excellency of catering competent Food Technologists with respect to teaching, research, entrepreneurship and extension endeavours leading towards sustainable growth of the state and nation

Mission

  • To produce competent Food Technologist who understand hygienically food processing, preservation, packaging, food standards & regulation and storage with the aim of reducing agricultural commodity losses, improving the status of farmers and food industrialist.
  • To develop research interest and entrepreneurship skills among students
  • To develop a full-fledged department which will have all facilities for research and product development and extension activities to address the regional needs
